This article describes how to add new users to access the RetailForce Cloud Portal.
Invitation and registration
Only users with access to the RetailForce Cloud Portal can authorise new users for access.
Authorisation levels
Organisation levels in the portal are hierarchical. Authorised users can invite (authorise) new users at the same or lower organisation levels.
Select organisational entity and send invitation
Example "Customer":
In this example, a new user is invited to access a customer company (organisation level). If you would like to invite a new user at level "Distributor" please see "Example 'Distributor'" below.
Proceed as follows:
- Step 1: Select the "Organisation" level in the main menu (left).
- Step 2: Select the respective company to which the new user is to be granted access
- Step 3: Then click on "Invite" in the Actions menu (right).
- Step 4: In the window that now appears, enter the email address of the new user you would like to invite and click on the "Invite" button ("Cancel" to cancel the process).
By pressing the "Invite" button, an invitation is sent by the RetailForce Cloud System to the email address entered.
Example "Distributor":
To authorise a new user to access the same level (Distributor) as the already authorised user, follow the same steps as in the example above, with the difference that in step 1 the level "Distributor" must be selected and in step 2 the own company or, if other distributors exist under the own company, the corresponding distributor must be selected. Steps 3 and 4 are identical.
Attention: It is irrelevant which organisation has been selected on the dashboard to be able to send invitations for access to a specific organisation. In the example above, an invitation to access the organisation "Testfirma 1 Cloudtest Germany - Dateiübertragung" was sent although the organisation "Testfirma 7 - Cloudtest Bulgaria" was selected on the dashboard:
