To be able to use new functions, such as the Lotteria Istantanea ("instant lottery"), a firmware update of the RT device is often necessary.
Attention: For production systems, a firmware update should only be carried out by the service technician, as the seal of the printer must be destroyed in order to carry out the update.

Lotteriea Istantanea
To enable Lotteria Istantanea ("instant lottery") the following FW version (or higher) must be installed on the printer.

Read out firmware version
The firmware version can be read out via the diagnostics page of the EPSON FP-Wizard.
Update of test devices
The firmware of test devices can be updated independently. Corresponding instructions are available.
After installing the firmware, the printer must be activated (set to demo mode) by EPSON support.
Note: By activating the printer's demo mode, all spaces (" ") are replaced by question marks ("?") on all printouts.
