This guide explains how to start and configure FLink to establish communication with the fiscal printer. The outlined steps ensure that FLink communicates properly with the POS system.
1. Start FLink
2. Device Type
In the 'Device Type' tab in FLink, select the fiscal printer according to your specific printer model.
3. Baud Rate
Set the Baud Rate in FLink to the value supported by your fiscal printer (e.g., 9600 bps). The Baud Rate determines the speed of data transmission between the PC and fiscal printer.
4. Set COM Port
Open the device manager on your computer and locate the correct COM port under 'Ports (COM & LPT)' to which the fiscal printer is connected (e.g., COM3). Then, enter this COM port number in FLink in the field 'Com. port N:'.
5. Activate HTTP Server
Activate the HTTP-Server option in FLink to enable network communication with the fiscal printer.
6. Define File Search Directory
Activate the 'Search for files' option and specify the directory 'C:/FLink'. This is the default path where FLink searches for required files.
7. Perform Communication Test
In the 'Communication' section of FLink, click the 'Test' button.
If communication is successful, an 'OK' message along with a serial number will appear in the status field.
8. Registration
After completing all previous steps and successfully establishing communication, the final step is to click on 'Get serial number' in the 'Registration' tab. The displayed 'Device serial number' should then be sent to us, so that the necessary 'Registration key' can be created.
