The fiscal middleware, also "fiscalisation middleware", is the heart of the RetailForce system. It is used to process data in accordance with country-specific requirements.
One interface
The Fiskal middleware provides a REST web service interface for processing the data. The upstream system ("cash register") always sends receipt data in the same format, regardless of the respective country. The middleware takes care of the specific further processing of the data.
One installation
Regardless of the country in which the middleware is used, the same software is always installed. This simplifies the rollout, as no different country versions need to be kept available.
