System requirements

The system requirements essentially depend on the planned system architecture: is it a multitenant system (middleware with several productive clients/terminals) or a single-tenant system (middleware with only one productive client/terminal).

Single-tenant system

In the case of a single-tenant system, it is recommended to install the middleware on the same PC/computer as the POS software, if possible, in order to avoid offline situations as much as possible.

In this case, the system requirements depend on the host system.

For multi-client systems, the system requirements depend on the number of clients to be mapped and the system load (how many transactions are to be processed in what time).
