Before you respectively your customers can go live with cash register systems in Sweden, the following steps must be completed:
- Acceptance by the manufacturer of the control unit used (e.g. Central Control Unit - CCU) - instructions for setting up test systems for the acceptance tests can be found in the article Test systems Sweden.
- Declaration of compliance with Swedish regulations for cash registers (manufacturer declaration).

Important: Successful completion of the acceptance tests and subsequent approval by the CCU manufacturer is a prerequisite for the manufacturer's declaration.
Configuration
When creating the configuration object for live operation, make sure that the following data is entered correctly (equivalent to the configuration for approval test systems). Only if this data is entered correctly will the CCU be created correctly and assigned to your company (POS system manufacturer).
- Cash register software company* - Company name given during registration (for the acceptance tests)
- Cash register software brand* - Name of the POS software (from registration)
- Cash register software version* - approved (!) version of the POS software (from registration)
- sowie die Parameter der Control unit configuration - You will receive this from the CCU manufacturer after successfully completing the acceptance tests.
