In some cases it may be necessary to replace the hardware on which the SFCC (swissbit fiscal cloud connector) was installed:
- Hard disk defect & reinstallation
- Hardware replacement / upgrade
- other reasons
Regardless of the reason, the reinstallation procedure is the same in each case:
If the Cloud Connector instance has been irretrievably lost, all electronic recording systems ("cash registers") connected to it must be connected to a new Cloud TSE. Before doing this, however, the old cloud TSE must first be deactivated. Then a new SFCC can be installed and set up on new hardware. Activation fees are only incurred if the existing tills register with new till IDs on the new Cloud TSE. If the existing till IDs continue to be used, no activation fees will be charged.
