Create Document

"I've got a question about createDocument. How long is its ‘lifespan’? Specifically, I can't determine exactly when the cashier started creating a new receipt in our system, and it can take up to 24 hours between createDocument and storeDocument or cancelDocument. Is that acceptable or is there a time limit?"

There is no time limit for a createDocument.

Currently (10/2024), the call of createDocument is only mandatory in Germany and Québec/Canada. In Germany, createDocument opens a new transaction in the TSS (technical security system) and this remains open until it is saved (storeDocument) or cancelled (cancelDocument). t should also be noted that there is a maximum number of simultaneously open transactions!
