The Croatian "Act on the Fiscalisation of Cash Payments" stipulates, among other things, that receipts must be digitally signed. This is done with the help of digital certificates issued by the Financial Agency (FINA).
Prerequisite
In order to obtain digital certificates, a trader must first register in FINA's PKI system. If a business already uses FINA certificates for other purposes, this is already the case and digital certificates for fiscalisation can be downloaded directly from the CMS FINA portal (CredentialManagementSystem) via PC with internet connection. Registration is done via the FINA website (https://www.fina.hr/).
After registration, access data to the CMS FINA portal is created and sent to the entrepreneur:
- Activation code via SMS
- reference number to the e-mail address specified in the application.

Use of the certificate
In order to use the certificate within the framework of the fiscalisation of POS systems in Croatia, it must be uploaded in the RetailForce Cloud Portal.
You can find more information on this in the articles Upload fiscalization certificates and Configuration Croatia.
