Electronic retention of the records

The saved business processes must be chained as transaction, so that it is possible to find gaps in the records. 

The chain is a result of the transaction number of the TSS and the signature counter. The saved application data of the TSS can be put into a storage system, so long as it is possible to export them according to the technical guideline of the BSI at a later time. After that, data can be deleted from the storage medium of the TSS. 

For conservation of the chain a complete archiving of log-messages of all hedging steps is necessary. 

A compressing of basis records in the storage system is prohibited.
